I’ve been doing some shoutcasting for quite awhile with my staff of Quake Live professionals over at Quake Live TV. We’ve got a ton of Quake Live coverage, including many shoutcasts!
Anyway, something I was involved with a couple weeks ago was the Bright it Back Safely CTF Championship, hosted by the leader shoutcast: GreasedScotsman. I was co-hosting the cast, and it was very cool to watch. There was some awesome moments, and luckily they’ve all been captured. GreasedScotsman, the lead shoutcaster and web developer, has put together a brief highlight reel of the most memorable moments. It’s really worth checking out. It’s only three minutes long – and the flag capture at the end of the video is really something phenomenal.
Where the Wild Things Are was a great book, and the feel of the movie seems to capture it perfectly. It’s got an indie vibe combined with sharp visuals, a stunning song, and just a grand feel of adventure. I feel this is going to be one of those great family movies that everyone loves, and provides more than just a good time – but a meaning to it, as well. I’m really excited.

I put together a frag video today using footage from my Enemy Territory: Quake Wars clan matches. Definitely a cool, short little film, be sure to check it out!
Hope you enjoy! Don’t be shy if you want to leave a comment, I hugely appreciate them!
A new site of mine just launched the other day! Created by myself, and supported by a few great staff members, the site is a sort of a “one stop shop” for people who play Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and are interested in spectating competitive matches.
So far, the turn out has been great. We’re averaging over 50 visitors tuned into each one of our shoutcasts, and our shoutcasters are having a great time.
You can find more information about the backend details on the credits page. The web design, coding, and implementation was all done by me.
I also made a promo video, which I recommend that you check out!
I’ve been working on two new projects recently.
The first is a destination for high quality, streaming HD videos for Video Games. So far it’s pretty popular, and all the videos are very nice and worth a look. Check it out!
The second is not yet finished, but please drop by our forums. EnemyTerritory.tv is a resource for spectating & shoutcasting services in Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. By no means a huge community, but a loyal fan base keeps it going.
